Cloudy dishes, standing water, or a door that won't latch. We check the filter and spray arms first, since buildup there causes more of these calls than a failed part.
Match your type on the left, check what it's doing on the right, then let us take it from there.
Which Type Do You Have?
Every layout, every major brand, we've worked on them all.
What's Gone Wrong?
Whatever your dishwasher is doing, chances are we've seen it this week.
Water Left Standing
A puddle at the bottom after every cycle finishes. Usually a clogged drain pump or a kinked drain hose, the most common reasons water doesn't fully clear.
Cloudy Dishes
A gritty film left on glasses and plates. A clogged spray arm or a filter that hasn't been cleaned in a while is behind most complaints like this.
Won't Start
Nothing happens when you press start, no lights, no sound. Often a door latch that isn't fully engaging, since most models won't run unless the door reads as closed.
Grinding Noise
A harsh grinding sound partway through the wash. Almost always something small caught in the chopper blade near the pump, not a failed motor.
Leaking From The Door
Water escaping around the door seal during the wash. Usually a gasket that's compressed and hardened with age, losing its ability to seal.
Dishes Not Drying
Everything comes out still wet at the end of the cycle. Often a heating element or vent fan issue, sometimes a rinse aid dispenser that isn't releasing.

Water was left standing in the bottom after every single cycle. Drain pump was blocked by a chunk of broken glass, cleared and confirmed dry after two test runs.
Dishes were coming out with a chalky film no matter what detergent we tried. Spray arm was clogged with mineral buildup, cleared and everything's spotless now.
Wouldn't start at all, no lights, nothing. Door latch wasn't engaging fully, a five minute adjustment and it's worked every time since.
Fixed the grinding noise fast, found a piece of glass in the pump right away. Four stars only because we had to wait a day for the appointment.
Door was leaking a small amount of water on every wash. Gasket had hardened over the years, replaced and ran a dry test cycle to confirm.
Everything was coming out soaking wet even after the full dry cycle finished. Vent fan had failed, replaced and everything comes out properly dry now.
