Won't drain, won't spin, or leaking from the base. Most calls trace back to a handful of common parts, checked in order before anything is replaced.
Match your type on the left, check what it's doing on the right, then let us take it from there.
Which Type Do You Have?
Every layout, every major brand, we've worked on them all.
What's Gone Wrong?
Whatever your washer is doing, chances are we've seen it this week.
Won't Spin
Drum fills and agitates but never reaches the spin stage. Usually a lid or door switch not sensing the latch properly, which stops the cycle from progressing.
Shaking Hard
Loud banging or walking across the floor during spin. Worn suspension springs or shock absorbers are the usual cause, especially on older front-load models.
Leaking From The Base
Water pooling underneath during or after a cycle. Often a failed door boot seal on front-load machines, letting water escape during agitation.
Won't Fill
Sits there without any water entering the tub. Usually an inlet valve stuck closed or a kinked supply hose behind the machine.
Loud Banging
A deep clunk on every spin cycle that wasn't there before. A worn drum bearing is the most common cause, and it gets louder gradually.
Stopping Mid-Cycle
Displays an error and halts partway through. Usually a pressure sensor misreading the water level, tripping a safety stop that isn't actually needed.
Tried These And Still Stuck?
Don't risk a DIY breakdown, a Port Moody technician can be at your door today.
Genuine parts and technicians who know each platform, not just the basics.
Real washer repairs, from quick fixes to the ones nobody else could figure out.
Front-load washer had started leaving a small puddle after every load. Door boot seal had worn through at the bottom fold, replaced and tested with two full cycles before he left.
Top-load washer stopped agitating halfway through, just sat there full of water. Lid switch was misreading, five minute swap and it's run fine since.
Machine sounded like it was going to shake off its feet during spin. Both suspension rods had failed, replaced as a pair, completely quiet now.
Solid diagnosis on the drain issue. Four stars only because the replacement pump took a couple extra days to source.
Compact stackable washer wouldn't fill at all one morning. Inlet valve was stuck shut, cleared and confirmed a normal fill afterward.
Loud clunk every single spin for weeks before we finally called. Drum bearing had worn out, replaced and it's dead silent now.
